1938年6月超人出现在Action Comics上。起源未被介绍，同Lois Lane一起工作于Daily Star。 (Action Comics 1)12月 Jimmy Olsen首次出现，还只是“Office Boy”。 (Action Comics 因为逆闪搞清楚了巴里来自哪个时代，想要杀小时候的巴里，结果被未来的闪电侠发现出手救走了小时候的自己，逆闪因此成怒杀死了巴里妈妈。

闪电侠（The Flash）是美国DC漫画旗下超级英雄，初次登场于《闪电侠漫画》（Flash Comics）第1期（1940年1月）。在DC漫画史中曾有多位角色曾使用过闪电侠这一称号。

最为人所熟知的闪电侠是在《展示橱》（Showcase）第4期（1956年10月）中登场的巴里·艾伦（Barry Allen）和在1986年接替巴里成为新任闪电侠的沃利·韦斯特（Wally West），他们先后担任漫画期刊《闪电侠》主角的时间超过20年。

角色介绍

闪电侠（The Flash）是DC漫画世界里的重要角色，也是全世界闻名的超级英雄之一。除了在20世纪五十年代初的超级英雄漫画的低潮期中断过五年外，关于闪电侠的漫画始终没有停止过出版，是DC漫画史上除了DC漫画三巨头——超人（Superman）、蝙蝠侠（Batman）和神奇女侠（Wonder Woman）外，出版漫画时间最长的超级英雄。

每一位闪电侠都拥有一种被称为“神速力”（Speed Force）的力量，他们都被称作“极速者”（Speester）。极速者们都可以高速运动，其速度之快可以超越光速，逆转时空，也能够穿透物体，甚至穿越平行宇宙之间的屏障。

在神速力的保护下，极速者们进行高速行动时可以无视一切物理定律。
