白露已至，秋意渐浓。南方难耐的酷暑即将散去，桂花就要香飘满城；而北方已经秋高气爽，晚霞绯红。
The arrival of Bailu, or White Dew, signals the autumn vibes are in full swing. The intolerable heat in southern China is about to dissipate, with osmanthus fragrance soon to waft through the city. In the north, however, the cool and crisp autumn air has set in, painting the sky with crimson evening hues.
这个时节，昼夜温差拉大，早晚有了凉意，寒升露凝。
During this time of the year, the temperature difference between day and night widens, bringing a chill to the mornings and evenings, water vapor condensed into dew.
古人把四时与五行相配，由于“秋属金，金色白”，所以称秋天的第三个节气为“白露”。

白露有三候：鸿雁来，玄鸟归，群鸟养羞。这三候都与鸟有关，讲的是候鸟南飞，而留鸟已经开始储食御冬。很多地方直到白露节气才正式入秋。

从养生上说，到了白露就不宜贪凉了，尤其要注意脚部保暖，谨防“寒从脚跟起”，也可以开始用热水泡脚，既促进血液循环、加速新陈代谢，又能缓解疲劳、改善睡眠。老话常说“春捂秋冻”，但“秋冻”一定要根据个人体质来，不可盲目。

此时我们可以多吃些生津润肺的食物，比如雪梨、百合、蜂蜜和枇杷。白露之后，鳗鱼肥美，大闸蟹只消蜕下最后一壳就能上桌了。

白露白露，念白动听，却带着独属于秋天的怅惘。“对酒当歌，人生几何！譬如朝露，去日苦多……何以解忧？唯有杜康”。故人常悲秋，但落叶飞舞的诗意只在瞬息当下最真实。
